Faces of Our History is an open-air exhibition set in the pleasant surroundings of a park in the centre of Postojna. It takes visitors on a journey through the lives of the people who helped shape the Pivka Basin and the wider region, leaving behind a lasting cultural and historical legacy. This biographical documentary exhibition presents a selection of the region’s most influential figures from the 19th and 20th centuries through informative texts, pictures, and fascinating stories from the past. Created by the Notranjska Museum Postojna and the Municipality of Postojna, the exhibition enriches the park with content that connects the natural surroundings with the area’s rich historical heritage.
Open to all visitors, the exhibition offers a pleasant stroll through the history of Postojna and an opportunity to discover the people who brought recognition to the Postojna region.
