Step into EXPO Cave Karst and discover, in a modern and engaging way, how the karst landscape was shaped over millions of years and how natural processes created one of the world’s most fascinating cave systems.
The exhibition takes you through the key moments and coincidences that led to the formation of karst structures, and uses animations and interactive content to bring the underground world to life for all visitors, young and old.

What you’ll experience:

A modern, interactive introduction to the world of karst, where learning happens through exploration and play.
A fun animation for children, guided through the exhibition by the olm, the region’s famous cave-dwelling resident. Young visitors can even try their hand at operating a real cave train.
Two additional exhibitions included in the admission price: Life within a Billion Years, which explores the history of the Earth, and Butterflies of the World.
